Cingular has been hard at work giving us our high speed data in a catch up race with Verizon’s EV-DO network for a while now and it seems like they are finally getting there. Cingular has officially launched 3G HSDPA networks in most of the NY metro area, almost all of Connecticut, and most of Massachusetts. This is just in time to support the new devices like the Blackjack and the upcoming enough already Treo 750. Compared to EDGE, 3G is a huge leap forward and with HSDPA we can use voice with data. Other parts of the country are experiencing 3G but we have no official word on all the locations. 3G map coming soon
