I thought I would share some new info I received pertaining to the 8800 on Cingular, and the new 9xxx series

  1. The 8800 on Cingular is scheduled for a mid February release.
  2. The 8800 (Cingular model) will not have a camera like previously reported.
  3. The 8800 keys are very much like the 8700, just a tad shorter — easy to type!
  4. Cingular’s 8800 will not have Wi-Fi
  5. The 9xxx series will have 3G
  6. The 9xxx series will support a full backup and restore to microSD card!
  7. Not sure if this is just Cingular, probably all major carriers but BIS 3.0 will be rolled out at the 9xxx launch
  8. It will have a new processor
  9. The 9xxx series will have a completely new UI
  10. The 9xxx series is scheduled to be released Q4 on Cingular

Thats it for now, you know where to keep checking for the latest info.
