Motorola’s 3G Move

Motorola will be filling its phones with Texas Instruments parts in its next series of wireless phones. Motorola sites this as beneficial to both companies bottom lines, and I am sure we have all heard about the big Moto’s low profits due to the endless stream of free RAZR remakes. Based on its own predictions, Texas Instruments could make close to $25 per handset sold. We’ll find out if this is a wise move in 2008.
