Onkyo has just released two exceptionally attractive, yet relatively affordable pieces of home audio components. First up is the A973, an Integra-range receiver. Supplying 2 channels each with 85 watts of sound, the A973 features one of Onkyo’s first implementations of VL digital technology. This ground-breaking new spec allows for lower power consumption, cleaner output, and optimized conversion. Click on to see the next one!

Next up is the C773, a CD player in matching attire. Tricked out with VLSC (or Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry), Onkyo claims superior analog to digital conversion working at 192 khz/24 bits for extreme clarity. Currently set to be released in March in Japan; a worldwide timetable to follow shortly. Expect them to retail from $275 to $350.
