It looks like MySpace’s news service, based on technology from Newroo, a company they recently acquired, is on the brink of a public launch. Wired News has the scoop on a leaked document from Fox Interactive Media, detailing the service and providing screenshots. MySpace News will apparently allow users to aggregate news stories from various feeds, much like a traditional RSS reader. The twist is that once collected, MySpace will provide a public forums for users to rate, discuss, and comment on current events. No word on specific release date, but the screenshots look pretty polished to me.
