Push email showdown

One of the biggest reasons people refer to the RIM BlackBerry as a CrackBerry is because of it’s constant, always on, push email. Email delivered mere seconds after it sent has become one of the most sought after features as new phones are released. Even the most anticipated upcoming phone, the iPhone, will include push based Yahoo mail. Emoze has been offering free push email, and claims their push is faster then RIM’s. They’ve drawn the line in the sand and are challenging BlackBerry to a speed test at CTIA next week in Orlando, Fl. Emoze was marginally faster at last month’s 3GSM World Congress showdown. Honestly, with over 10 million Blackberry subscribers worldwide, and virtually no one even knowing who Emoze is, even if BlackBerry loses, they still win.
