Symbian 9.5
Symbian is a major player in the mobile phone market, holding over 76% of the SmartPhone market share. Windows Mobile use is on the rise, and the Symbian OS is in need of a few updates. The new OS v9.5 includes major upgrades such as extended battery life, push-email, VoIP over WiFi, Digital TV support, red-eye reduction when using the camera, and WiFi 3G roaming. Symbian’s OS will come with a snappier interface and more efficient memory usage. You can see the new Symbian at CTIA this week.
