Sprint to offer music for under a dollar
Sprint has announced it’s plans to lower the cost of songs purchased directly from the cell phone. This new offering is tied directly into the new Samsung UpStage which will let music downloads go from $.99 when bought directly from your mobile phone. The new UpStage device includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, up to 2GB of MicroSD storage, and dual batteries which offer 6.3 hours of talk time, or 16 hours of music listening. This is the "Flipper" phone (aka m620) that has previously been reported as a dual sided phone. It will feature the phone controlls on one side, and multimedia on the other. Watch for Sprint to ‘Refine Flip’ with this device as it launches in April for $149 with 2 year service agreement.
