Motorola’s MC35 attempts to tap into the enterprise fleet market with a new type of device. Coined EDA, or Enterprise Digital Assistant, the MC35 features a number of standard features that elevate it above the fold. Moto is billing it as an “all-in-one communication device that harnesses the voice and data applications people expect from an office setting and delivers them in the form of a durable and compact handheld mobile computer.” It features GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Quad Band EDGE/GSM, a camera, bar-code reader, while running good ole’ Windows Mobile 5 atop a 416MHz Intel XScale processor. This rugged, and rather ugly, device, will be released in April on AT&T, and run you $640 – $750 depending on spec.
