Cingular Rebate Form, April style
Hot off the press is this brand new Cingular rebate sheet, indicating some hot new phones and rebates beginning April 1st. Sit tight, crack a beer, and get comfortable, as there’s a lot to unpack here. First up is the Nokia N75, a phone we’ve been playing with, and waiting for Cingular to release. It looks like they’ve finally gotten their act together, as it’s scheduled to debut with a $50 rebate out of the gate. Moving right along, we’ve got the Samsung a717, a cunning little Ultra Edition 3G-equipped handset that’s a dead ringer for Sprint’s current SPH-M610, in GSM livery of course. Not to be outdone by its CDMA brethren, this baby has UMTS/HSDPA, and A2DP-equipped Bluetooth for your stereo listening pleasure. Check out the rest of the handsets after the jump!
There’s also the Nokia 6085, a Quad Band EDGE affair with an internal antenna, featuring the standard array of options, including Bluetooth, music player with Cingular Xpress audio messaging, expandable memory, and a shockingly low-resolution VGA shooter. No 3G and a plethora of low-end features means this one will most likely be relegated to the free with-service realm. The LG CU500 receives a small update in the form of the CU500v, which will feature a front facing camera and be compatible with Cingular’s Video Share service. You can check out some details on that service here. Finally, there’s the Samsung a437. Not a whole lot to go on for this one, but given it’s placement on the Go Phone list, I’m assuming it’s not going to be anything earth shattering. Of significant note is the lack of any new smart devices, including no mention of the Blackberry 83xx. Cingular better have some tricks up it’s sleeve.
Thanks, Luis
