at&t/Cingular starting this month will be offering free Napster services, which include over 3 million songs. The Napster offer will give broadband internet subscribers who add wireless phone service and also wireless subscribers who add broadband service, a year of free access to the entire Napster library. This is similar to the previous deal the two companies had, but previously the service was going to run $14.95/month, now it’s free. Anyone living outside of AT&T’s broadband region (including 22 states currently), will be able to get the same offer if they sign up for a two-year contract with certain phones, like the Samsung SYNC and Blackjack.
