LG and Samsung filling the Motorola void

It looks like Motorola might be having a bit more trouble than anyone thought. Telecoms Korea is reporting that both LG and Samsung are poised to enjoy a 3-5% hike in operating profit margins due, at least in part, to "Motorola’s slowdown in North America." This should all be taken with a grain of salt, as TK clearly has a vested interest in supporting their native manufacturers. At the same time, it’s no secret that Moto has been struggling as of late. The mediocre performance of their KRZR, which was positioned as a RAZR replacement, in conjunction with LG and Samsung’s luxury handset power move, is creating nothing but headaches for the faltering handset giant. If only they could get their act together and pull off a North American release of their new JUIX OS they might be able to salvage some sales dignity.
