Verizon Goes Unlimited with SMS, MMS, and VCast

Starting April 15th, traditionally tax day for all you waiting till the last minute, Verizon is scheduled to launch unlimited plans for their data services. Included are text messages, picture messages, and VCast. The plans are expected to be at a $20 premium for single lines, and family plans will start at around $100 for these unlimited services with 700 included minutes. T-Mobile Sidekick users are used to the $20 premium for unlimited messaging, and BlackBerry users often pay even more for such features. Will Verizon be able to convince enough people that it’s worth the extra $20 per month? Guess that depends on how much you text.
