Starting today, Cupertino-based startup Mobio, launched their mobile software to the masses. The company’s mission is to, "enable the creation of mobile content and applications that are fun, simple, and useful enough to merit everyday use." Pretty much they want to deliver the "baby internet" to your mobile phone in a way that is useful. You can check times and purchase movie tickets, make reservations at restaurants, etc. Here’s where Mobio becomes useful; their categories are arranged in a way to help you find things to fill the free time. Categories like stepping out, outwitting the kids, after midnight, romance me, and indulge me serve as portals to creative ideas on the town you might not of though of. The software is limited in what phones run it, but if your phone runs it, it’s worth checking out. Oh did we forget to mention, it’s free.
