Sony’s Playstation 3, the 20GB unit, has officially been discontinued due to a lack of sales, and well, sales. I mean did anyone really buy them anyway? Apparently not as the ratio of purchases from the 60GB to the 20GB models was 10:1 respectively. Sony has ever confused the consumer with the two differentiations between the consoles, unlike the Xbox 360 where it’s all up front. Bigger hard drive (which you can buy separately) a shiny optical drive cover, and some accessories (which can also be bought separate). I’m glad to see it go the way of the Dodo bird, but then again who I am talking to? My 60GB PS3 hasn’t even been plugged into a power outlet in over 5 months, let alone been turned on. +1 for Microsoft. Booyah!
