Microsoft opens Public Beta for Vista Media Center update

Microsoft began accepting applicants yesterday for a public beta of a Media Center update to their recently released Vista operating system. Applicants are now being accepted, pending completion of a rather broad, and typically cryptic survey aimed at acquiring a beta group with a wide range of usage patterns and interests. No details about specific upgrade features are available and no indication was given as to the updates eventual public release date.
