BlackBerry Software on WM6
On a Palm Treo or some Symbian based phones, you can have the BlackBerry connect software which is a push email program that sort of works like a BlackBerry does, but doesn’t deliver the entire BlackBerry experience. With the introduction of Windows Mobile 6, RIM is able to offer the entire BlackBerry Application Suite (essentially the entire OS) for download. This includes nearly everything, including push email, PIN messages, address book, 3rd party support, and yes even Brick Breaker. This raises the question, like Apple computers which fully support Windows, will people be buying switching to Windows Mobile devices, and running BlackBerry software on them, to get the best of both worlds? The great part is that you can toggle back from one side to the other, going into let’s say Windows Media Player for music, and back to the BlackBerry side for your beloved email. AT&T is the first carrier to support this when it launches later this year, but there will surely be others to follow soon after.
