In a move that can lead to an increase in traffic accidents, Clarion has announced plans to launch an uber-highend GPS navigation unit. Sporting the usual slew of features, including turn-by-turn directions, memory card slots, and media playback features, the MAX9700DT also features the ability to tune into Digital Television broadcasts. The device has two built in tuners, one for the 1Seg mobile TV format, and another DMB-T unit for catching higher-quality broadcasts. This baby also features an integrated iPod dock that allows for direct control of the MP3 player by way of the 7" touchscreen. Expect to see this one go for about $2,855 when it drops in June.
