Italy’s premier luxury design firm, Pininfarina, has teamed up with SimpleTech to create a line of portable hard drives. The team behind some of the most beautiful cars in the world has imparted their magic touch on the lowliest of peasant technology, creating three mobile hard drives in varying capacity. The drives come in a different colors like, white, gray, black, and Ferrari red. They’re available in 160GB, 250GB, and 500GB flavors. Expect to pay about $200 for the top of the line model, with the 160 GB drive available for under $100 if you look hard enough. Sleek lines aside, there’s nothing too special about these storage devices, but if you absolutely must have an Italian-designed hard drive to site on your solid Mahogany desk, then this would seem to be the answer to your prayers.
