Microsoft is shouting the praises of it’s Zune Marketplace today with the addition of their 3 millionth song. This is still about 2 million shy of Apple’s iTunes, but the benefit of the Zune Marketplace’s music subscription service means that you can listen to any one of these 3 million songs as long as you are paying your monthly membership. It’s an impressive amount of songs for a service that’s only been around less then a year, but then again it is Microsoft after all. The Zune also offers the ability to send songs to other Zune users for 3 plays / 3 days. To top it all off Microsoft has released a limited edition pink Zune just in time for mother’s day. If you’re really fighting the Apple machine, there is no harm to show the Zune some love.
