Recent buyers of T-Mobile’s Blackberry 8800 may have noticed the other night TeleNav was automatically downloaded onto your BlackBerry without warning. If you signed up for the 60 day free trial and downloaded the software before 10 PM EDT Tuesday you might have also noticed the software to be a bit buggy. Specially entering addresses manually would cause the program to crash. They have updated the software and published directions on how to update without the need for a re-install.

A) Launch TeleNav on your BlackBerry 8800, and select the Directory.
B) Enter HYATT in the top row of the form, and then select Search Within Category.  For a category, select Hotels and Motels.
C) Then, select Search Other Location from the drop down menu.
D) For the search reference point, use the Airport option, and enter an airport code like SEA, JFK, LAX or ATL.
E) Submit the search
F) During the BlackBerry 8800′s interaction with the TeleNav servers, the servers will update TeleNav’s manually entered address input feature.
