Samsung’s LED monitors

Hot on the heels of Apple’s revelation that they will be using LED backlight-equipped monitors before the end of the year, Samsung has announced a new line of LED LCD displays. These will feature a 1900 x 1200 resolution, and display some of the most vividly represented colors your little eyes have ever seen. Samsung claims that these new monitors will create "the best picture quality anywhere in the world." That’s a bold statement Samsung, but seeing as you’re the first major manufacturer on the block to drop an LED, we might just be inclined to believe you. No word on pricing or release date, but consider yourself duly warned.
