Sony Ericsson announces S500 slider

Just a little whle ago Sony Ericsson announced the release of their S500. It’s actually taken some key features from another handset in their lineup; the W580 Walkman. The new S500 features quad-band EDGE, a 2 megapixel camera, and a clear 262k color, QVGA display. It only contains 12MB of internal memory, but never doubt Sony’s ability to buy their M2 media cards for extra storage. The handset itself is only 94g, and themes that change based on day, night, weekday, or weekend. Neat! Look for it in yellow, or green in Q2 of this year with a Q3 USA launch to follow. Pricing was not released at time of announcement.
