Sprint has finally taken the veil off of the worst kept secret in the industry, officially launching the Treo 755p. The specs have been out in the wild for a while, and as such aren’t anything too surprising. The 755p is a souped up Treo 700p with an internal antenna. The feature set is relatively unchanged, sporting a 312 MHz XScale processor, EV-DO Rev. 0 (no Rev. A), miniSD slot, 320×320 display, and 128MB of RAM. Still, the lack of an external antenna certainly makes it a bit more appealing than its predecessor, and if you’re looking for a high speed wireless Treo running the Palm OS, this is pretty much the only game in town. It will be available in two colors, burgundy and blue, and retail for $279.99 with a 2-year contract. The Treo 755p should be available withing the next week or two. on Sprint
