Mouse features retinal scanner

Qritek, a Korean manufacturer, has released a mouse that goes to great lengths to verify your identity. The IRIBIO features a built-in retinal scanner that stores the unique "footprint" of your eye, giving only selected and approved users access to your sensitive videos data. The mouse has an onboard 500 MHz processor, 16MB of RAM, and 1MB of storage. All of these resources are put to good use when you raise the mouse to your eye. Connected to your PC via an encrypted USB line, the proprietary software and sensor scans your eye, determines if you are who you claim to be and, if successful, unlocks your desktop computer. Unfortunately unless your security needs don’t extend beyond the Korean border, you’re out of luck, at least for the moment. Perhaps a US government contract should be on its way, as our very own TSA certainly has some security work to do to get its house in order.
