Sennheiser’s new noise canceling headphones

While noise-canceling technology can’t completely isolate you from the world you, at least not yet, it has become an effective means of reducing the impact of unwanted frequencies on your listening experience. Sennheiser’s new PXC 450 headphones mark yet another entry into an already crowded market. The new ‘phones feature the company’s proprietary Noiseguard 2.0 technology, and run for 16 hours on two AAA batteries. They include a "talk-through" feature that allows for sound input from external sources, and have a cluster of controls for power, volume, and more, which are located on the right earpiece. Senheiser has a solid reputation for making high-end consumer products, and we expect these loftily priced headphones to be positioned as a tier above Bose’s Quiet Comfort line. Expect the PXC 450′s to be available later this month for $595.
