Texting & Driving In Washington State banned
Washington State has become the first state to make it illegal to send a text message while driving. While this is merely an extension of trying to crack down on cell phone calls while driving, texting and driving can often leave you with less control of the vehicle. This is a secondary offense, meaning you must be pulled over for something real, like speeding, to be ticketed for it. The fine is $101, but if you were smart at all, you’d simply hide the Crackberry when the cop is walking up to the door. Or just don’t get pulled over in the first place, and wave your texting-tool out the window at the officer as you speed by him…
