Forgot to set your TiVo to record the latest episode of Desperate Housewives LOST, and don’t really feel like paying $1.99 to download it on iTunes? If you have a Sprint phone with video enabled, you will soon be able to watch it right on your phone for free. You do have to be subscribed to the $20 unlimited data service, and suffer through commercials, but free is free. ABC was the first major network to throw it’s hat in to the ring in terms of alternative ways to watch TV with iTunes and online streaming. With this new partnership with Sprint, they’re kicking it up a notch again. With an expected 11 shows to start this fall, including Grey’s Anatomy, LOST, Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty. The four most-recent episodes of each series can be viewed on demand. People were complaining about watching TV shows on a 2.5" iPod screen, only imagine what it will be like on that tiny cell phone screen.
