Nokia 3109 brings boring back

Nokia touts the just released 3109 handset as going "back to basics." That sounds like a good tag line, but one look at this phones exterior and spec sheet, and you might be thinking otherwise. This yawner of candybar "features" an integrated speakerphone, organizer, USB/Bluetooth, MP3 player with microSD slot, and an email client. And that’s all she wrote. No camera, not 3G, no nothing. In all fairness, this is not a high-end phone, and makes no pretenses otherwise. For $189 out of contract, however, you could have at least thrown in a multicolor blinking LED, Nokia…come on!
