I’m not sure how pragmatically useful this feature would prove to be, but I’m sure there are people out there that could make good use of it. Haier, a Chinese electronics manufacturer, has just released an LCD with an integrated printer port. This connection, made through an archaeically large full size printer port, allows you to print off shots of movie, TV, or slideshow stills. There’s no word on the actual resolution of the prints. The LCD itself is a rather large affair, stretching over 42 football loving inches. Rounding out the feature set is a single USB port, presumably for more modern printing apparti, a pair of HDMI inputs, and support for 1080p. The amazing printing TV is currently on sale in China for a song. $2,666 with a 3 year contract.
