Fresh off the irony of crippling countless machines, Symantec is looking to launch a new line for Windows Mobile that, according to a corporate spokesperson, will hit on May 29th.  You’ll get two flavors to choose from:  Norton Mobile Security for Smartphones ($49.95), including antivirus, antispam, firewall and data encryption capabilities, and Symantec Mobile Security 5.0 ($79.95), which adds advanced IT goodies, such as remote data wiping, and handheld auditing (good for checking to see if you’re spending your data looking at naughty bits).  For those Symbian OS folks who are already enjoying this software, your 5.0 update will arrive within the next 6 months, according to the corporate vocal cords.
