Come 3rd Quarter of this year, the first wave of re-writable Blu-Ray and HD-DVD discs should hit our shores.  In spite of Ritek’s reputation for uber-cheap mass-production media, NexGen discs will still be pretty pricey.  Look for costs to hover around $10/disc at retail.  However, according to a spokesmonkey at Ritek, when other Taiwanese mass-producers get accredited to jump on the bandwagon, that should drive down both the cost for them, as well as the one guy in the world that has a RW HD or Blu-Ray drive end-user. Noice!
