GMail doubles attachment size limit

GMail, the sexiest free email provider, has just upped their attachment limit from 10 MB to 20 MB per message. What does this mean? Not a whole lot if you’re the document emailing type, but if your fond of sending off audio tracks, videos, and other memory intensive files, GMail just got a bit more attractive. While 20 MBs still doesn’t rival the 100 MB or more limit of services such as YouSendIt, it does bring Gmail a step closer to being useful as a file sharing tool. The only issue now is finding another email provider that accepts such large attachments. Yahoo Mail Plus, as well as other GMail users might be your only potential recipients at the moment, but don’t let that squash your big file sending fun.
