Sony Ericsson W999i confirmed!
Sony Ericsson has accidentally confirmed the existence of its oft rumored W999i slider phone. The Walkman line was leaked last month, but had yet to be officially confirmed by the manufacturer. Featuring a slick slider form factor, the W999i was inadvertantly posted on the GSM association website. Nice work SE. Unfortunately precious few details accompanied the listing, with no confirmation on anything aside from the two letters per key layout and an HSDPA radio. The phone was rumored to have a 2 megapixel shooter, but the current listing mentions nothing of the sort. Still, things could be worse. A suretype-esque HSDPA compatible sliderphone from Sony Ericsson? Life is good, friends. All that remains to be seen is when, and where, this baby will drop. Cross your fingers.
