Halo 3 Beta draws to a close

Microsoft’s decision to open up Halo 3 to a quasi-public beta test was a pretty revolutionary move in the console system world. While beta tests are par for the course with desktop software, rarely do console software developers go the same route. Sadly, Halo 3‘s beta days have come to a close, with Microsoft announcing that they were shutting down the public testing process effective this morning. Luckily there’s only a few short months between now and the game’s official September 25th drop date. Now what we wanna know is, what was your highest rank? I could give everyone BG’s Xbox Live gamertag, but then again, no one wants to be publicly humiliated.
