Opera released the beta version of their Opera Mini 4 mobile browser this morning. The browser is available for just about any handset you can imagine, and brings a simple, straightforward option to the mobile browsing fold. Opera Mini is a popular alternative to terrible built in WAP browsers that now come standard with most web-enabled handsets. The new version of their mobile browser provides a number of exciting enhancements, including a virtual mouse mode, and a Desktop Layout mode that provides a bird’s eye view of your favorite sites. Both of these features , combined with a slick "Intelligent Zoom" feature, make browsing the "real" internet on your mobile phone a realistic option. If you feel like being a guinea pig for Opera’s beta test, the public version is available right now from their mobile site.
