Someone suing Second Life character

We’re about to enter a whole new world of lawsuits and laws, ones that govern everything from virtual property, to virtual copyrights. The latter is in question thanks to a lawsuit brought on by adult-content company owner Kevin Alderman. He claims that Second Life user "Volkov Catteneo" is violating his copyright for what he calls the "SexGen bed," having created a similar virtual version and is selling it at a discounted rate through Second Life. Alderman also plans to subpoena Linden Labs to obtain Catteneo’s real life identity. In the meantime, Volkov isn’t worried: "I’m not some kind of noob, my name isn’t on [Linden Lab's] file. I don’t even have a permanent address [in real life] either."
