Will they or won’t they: PS3 price drop
Rumors have begun swirling all over about a possible 60GB Playstation 3 price drop at Circuit City in the upcoming weeks. Message board poster "speedy1961," known in some circles to have some pretty credible intel, has been flooding boards with deets of this upcoming slash in the mega-console’s price. However, Sony execs are adamant about no such price drop. "At present, we have no plans," Sony President Ryoji Chubachi told Reuters when asked whether Sony had any plans to cut the PS3 price.
