Speech-to-text message service coming to Alltel
In a striking display of British ingenuity, UK based SpinVox Ltd. has signed Alltel Wireless onto its speech-to-text message service. With the new service, one will receive their voice messages as text messages on their mobile handset. Additionally, the company confirms that it is in talks with one of the top four US carriers. With this rapid growth on the consumer side, coupled with the increase of employees from 50 to 300, the company is rumored to be considering an IPO.
