LG Prada goes gold

There’s nothing like a little shiny metal to make a desirable handset, well, more desireable. This gold LG Prada comes to us courtesy of Amosu, the company responsible for a number of other gold plated objects, including the ubiquitous iPod. All told, we think this is a pretty hot modification. The 24k gold accents the Prada’s good looks nicely, and there’s nothing too goudy or over the top about it. The $989.70 price tag is a wee bit intimidating, however, as we can’t really justify dropping a grand on yet another modded handset. That said, if gold is your thing, and you’re in the market for a sexy new iPhone alternative, this is deserving of a second look.
