This could do wonders to reduce those aggravating waits at the airport. Japanese airline Nippon Airways has announced that they will be allowing travelers to check in by way of a wireless microchip beginning next month. The service, dubbed SKIP!, allows you to book your ticket by computer or mobile phone. You then download the ticket information onto an IC-chip enabled mileage card or IC-capable mobile handset. Once you arrive at the airport, check-in is as simple as running your phone or card through a scanner, waiting for confirmation, and proceeding to the security line. No hassle, and no frustrating wait in line. Sounds good, right?
