10 GB doesn’t sound like much in this day and age, but when you’re talking about the hard drive capacity of a UMPC, things start to get a bit more interesting. The official spec sheet for the HTC Shift has hit the ground running, and there’s a bit of a surprise in the fine print. The general specs are pretty much on par with what we’ve been expecting. HTC’s uber-device will still sport a dual processor, a Windows Vista / Windows Mobile 6 set up, 1GB of built in RAM, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA/UMTS, and much much more. The news, you might be asking? Well, the base model has received a bump from 30GB to 40GB of internal storage. Expect this baby to drop very soon, delighting UMPC-loving HTC fans everywhere.
