China blocks RSS feeds

Seriously, we’re not kidding. In a move that’s sure to spark the ire of freedom lovers everywhere, the Chinese government has moved to block all RSS content. They have a long standing censorship policy, heavily regulating the content that is available to the Chinese population. Up until now, however, RSS feeds have gone relatively unchecked, giving users access to content that would have previously been inaccessible in its fully syndicated format. No longer, though. China has managed to block and and all RSS information from reaching users inside the country. What’s next, China? Big Macs? Please no, not that!
