"Worry Free" and "Cell phone contract" rarely go hand in hand, but Verizon is looking to set the bar a little higher. The company is launching their "Worry Free Guarantee" this week, offering existing customers the opportunity to change their wireless plans without re-upping their contract. The offer also allows for a full 30-day service trial period, and the offer of a free phone every two years for customers on a rate plan of $34.95 or higher. The latter two offers have been around for a while, but it’s nice to see a comprehensive package of customer service guarantees. Granted, Sprint has had a similar offer in place for a while, but given Sprint’s complete inability to provide an adequate level of customer service, we’re glad to see that Verizon has stepped up to the plate here.
