Yeah, we know that Verizon got this baby out of the gates first, kinda, but it’s still pretty exciting to see Sprint drop a brand new BlackBerry handset. The Pearl 8130 is coming to Sprint complete with a number of exclusive Sprint service, including support fro Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store, Sprint On Demand News and Alerts, and Sprint Navigation. The hardware is functionally identical to the Verizon version, but we’re guessing that the GPS in this thing won’t have the same shackles imposed by The Network, hopefully allowing for more 3rd party navigation app support. Sprint stated that the handset will be available "next month" with pricing to be announced upon commercial release. Hit the link for the full press release. Welcome to the party, Sprint.
