Yahoo! to DRM: Nuh-uh

With the Amazons of the world starting to join the side of Good, more and more people are not only starting to take notice, but even jump on the bandwagon. Enter Yahoo! Music General Manager Ian Rogers, who recently spoke to music executives, and made a strong statement to enfore the fact that he won’t buy what they’re selling. “I’m here to tell you today that I for one am no longer going to fall into this trap,” he said.  “If the licensing labels offer their content to Yahoo! [and] put more barriers in front of the users, I’m not interested." Them’s fightin’ words! We hope these guys hold true to their word, and that more follow suit. This is one bandwagon that couldn’t possibly get too big.
