eBay launches “Neighborhoods”

Let’s face it, eBay is huge. Sometimes, it’s frustrating to be looking for something, only to not be able to think of what magical keyword will get you to the item. With the newly launched "Neighborhoods," eBay is hoping to not only fix that, but throw in a bit of social networking into the mix as well. Neighborhoods is a series of groups made up of both common interests, as well as people. Into everything Star Wars? iPhone freak? Religious about the Green Bay Packers? Neighborhoods will get you hooked up with like-minded people so you can buy and sell goodies to your heart’s content, as well as communicate with your fellow aficionados. It’s in the infant stages right now, but with as vast as the eBay community is, it seems like something that could take off pretty fast.
