Finally “talk” with all of your long lost AIM friends in Gmail

Google has finally updated the Gmail version of its Google Talk messenger by adding support for AIM. Now, just login to your Gmail account, select options under the chat box, and then log into your AIM account. All your friends from AIM will be automatically imported into your messenger contacts. No word yet on if this will be carried over to your talk desktop and mobile applications, but we imagine that it isn’t far behind. This is the latest in what should be a long line of Google Talk updates after releasing the group chat function last month. Guess they are finding plenty of ways to spend that extra revenue from Android commitments.
