Huh – Apple issues new goodies on a Monday? Does tradition mean nothing? Oh well, we’ll take what we can get then. Just as we reported yesterday, Apple has indeed issued the updated version of the AirPort Express that the Swiss Apple store was kind enough to let everyone know about a day early. The new AirPort Express is just as compact, portable and convenient as the model it replaces, but we all know what sets it apart. Implementation of the 802.11n protocol makes transfer speeds up to five times faster than those supported by its predecessor (with twice the range!) and it won’t cost you a penny more. Yep, $99 gets you the rip-roaring wireless love that is 802.11n, making iTunes streaming, wireless printing and all the rest of your data transfers as fast as possible. Hit the read link to play.
