With financial ruin staring them down the barrel, sprint is really pulling out all of the stops. The next revolution? A "real" web-browser for it’s entire line of internet-capable handsets. Sounds interesting. The company has just announced that they will be providing a "desktop-like" browsing experience for "virtually all" of its handsets. We certainly question the "desktop-like" statement, but anything that brings a more pleasant browsing experience to as many phones as possible is a winner in our book. The browser itself will be based on Openwave’s Openweb framework, and should be available soon, though no specific launch date has been revealed.
